SCHOLARSHIP 2024
APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE

 

In partnership with Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter, SPGCCC offers scholarships to qualified high school students, who plan to attend college, each year.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, and a desire to continue higher education. The students must reside in or attend high school in Districts 8 or 9 in Southern Prince George's County."

High School Student Scholarship Application

       A.  Must reside or attend school in Council manic District 8 or 9 in Southern Prince George's County, Maryland
      B.  Must be a graduating high school senior
      C.  Must be planning to attend a 2 or 4-year institution of higher learning in the Fall semester
       D.  Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above

One Time Renewable Award
      A.  Must be a SPGCCC scholarship recipient the year prior to submitting your application
     B.  Must request the Award for your second year in college
     C.  Must be currently enrolled in college
     D.  Must be planning to continue your studies during the upcoming academic school year

                      2024 Renewable Award Application

Sylvia Avery Scholarship
      A.  Must be currently enrolled at Morgan State University
     B.  Must have completed the previous semester at Morgan State University
     C.  Must be in good academic standing with Morgan State University
     D.  Must have officially "declared" Education as his/her major

Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter Scholarship Endowment*
      A.  Must be an undergraduate student 
     B.  Must be of African American decent
     C.  Must have attended high school in Southern Prince George's County, Maryland
